Hikes within 2 hours of Nashville

This page is a work in progress. Links will take you to a blog post about each place and my personal experiences hiking there with kids.

Beaman Park- Located on the north-west side of Nashville, TN near both Ashland City and Joelton. You have a choice of beginning at the nature center at 5911 Old Hickory Blvd. or at one of the trail heads on Little Marrowbone. There are 5 miles of trails here.

Bells Bend Park-

South Cumberland State Park - Around 2 hours from Nashville, this park hosts over 90 miles of hiking trails spread out over more than 25,000 acres and 4 counties. It can be overwhelming to decide where to start, and which trails to hike. I'm figuring it out as I go and am excited to make it easier for other families to plan trips here.
